I began my current position at Safran Vectronix in 2013. I studied engineering and business administration. With this educational background, I worked in various companies, all manufacturing products in the premium sector. I had no previous contact with the industry in which Safran Vectronix operates. However, it quickly became clear that I could also put my experience in product management, business development and sales to very good use.
As Regional Sales Director, I am responsible for our markets in Latin America, Southern Europe and Southeast Asia. These markets are all not exactly “around the corner”, but with my international background I find my way around these regions effortlessly. Even as a student, I wanted to discover the world. So, through my first internationally active employer based in El Salvador, I began studying for an MBA in Austin (Texas) and then moved to Switzerland. I have been living here with my family since 2001.
I really enjoy contact with customers, developing new markets and new projects. It is particularly exciting for me to successfully establish new customer relationships – whether at international trade fairs or at product demonstrations in “my” countries. What I particularly like about our company philosophy is that sales successes are never just individual achievements. They are always a joint success of the team.
