Marc, Financial Controller

I work as a financial controller at Safran Vectronix and previously started as an accountant. At the beginning of November, two years had passed since I joined the company. Interestingly, I wasn’t actually looking for a job when I noticed the job advertisement during a lunch break and applied.

Before joining Safran Vectronix, I worked in the fiduciary sector for around 20 years, gaining experience in the areas of auditing, accounting, tax and consulting. I now bring this extensive experience to my current role.

I am currently settling into my new function in controlling. My main tasks include transfer pricing, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. I particularly appreciate that the work is highly varied and that we work with many other departments.

For my position, an understanding of accounting, analytical thinking and quick comprehension skills are especially important. These skills allow me to analyse complex financial matters and make informed decisions.

Our team is perfectly coordinated. Everyone helps everyone else, and it’s incredibly fun to work with this team. The collegial atmosphere and team spirit contribute significantly to a positive working atmosphere.

My current focus is on becoming properly inducted into my new role. In the future, I would like to take on further areas of controlling and expand my skills. My goal is to make a valuable contribution to the success of the company.

My free time is mainly spent with my kids on the sports fields and ski slopes in the region.
