«The exciting thing about my job is that I travel internationally to visit our customers and train them in the use of our products.»

Markus, Customer Support Manager

I joined Safran Vectronix in the middle of 2018. I started in the assembly department of our MOSKITO TI and PLRF 25C devices. There I was very close to the product, because you assemble all the components, which means you assemble the device from A to Z and also test it. I am very familiar with the functionality of laser measurement, thermal and lowlight channels or HMIs.

This enabled me to move from the assembly unit to the Programs Team as Customer Support Manager in December 2021. A good foundation was also my military training as a sniper group leader in the Swiss army, which means I know and understand the needs of our customer target group. As a professional basis, I did an apprenticeship as a polymechanic and am currently completing my part-time studies to become a business economist HF, through which I am further qualifying myself for my new area of responsibility.

As a Customer Support Manager, I love being on site with the customer, so I get around a lot. There, I conduct product demos, i.e. when we are still in the process of procurement, and later also so-called end-user trainings. Then I explain our devices with their full range of functions to the soldiers, who then uses them.
