Mattia, Export and Sales

My first step in my still young professional life was a commercial apprenticeship. After the first year of apprenticeship at “libs Industrielle Berufslehren Schweiz” here on the Innopark premises, I decided to join Safran Vectronix. I completed my second year of apprenticeship in the Sales department, followed by the third year of my apprenticeship in the purchasing department. With my final certificate in hand, I was able to start as a trainee in the Marketing & Sales department in 2020.

I now support the export of our goods and their sale. This helps me to familiarize myself further with many important steps in the sales process. This includes the preparation of quotations, delivery and also the handling of export documents. At Safran Vectronix this is a very important task, because our products are subject to strict export controls. For example, not even every employee has access to the finished product that is then sent to customers. The export area is of particular interest to me here at the company. That’s why I will soon be starting further training to become an export manager. The industry in which we operate always inspires me. Working at Safran Vectronix feels a bit like being in a big family.
