I took my first steps at Safran Vectronix with my apprenticeship as a commercial specialist in the Marketing & Sales department. In the third year of my apprenticeship, I was then able to support our team in operational purchasing.

After successfully completing my apprenticeship, I continued to work in operational purchasing as a temporary employee for about a year and integrated myself further into the team.

Like every young man, I also had to complete mandatory military service in Switzerland. I interrupted my employment during this time, but I already set the course during my military service to return to Safran Vectronix.

Since April 2023, I have been working as a permanent employee in operational purchasing again. My tasks include maintaining supplier contacts, initiating and monitoring orders, processing error reports and complaints, and supporting strategic purchasing with project orders.

When I returned, I was also able to take over purchasing and scheduling for our new foothold in the B2C market together with a colleague.
