At Safran Vectronix, we deal with very demanding products and with equally sensitive and small assemblies and components. My job as a universal assembler is to assemble each device I manufacture in accordance with high quality requirements from start to finish. By qualification, I’m a multi-skilled engineer. When I applied in 2018, the full range of tasks in assembly particularly appealed to me: Starting with assembly, soldering and gluing, through to turning, adjusting and calibrating, everything is my responsibility. The work requires high precision and also a lot of patience: A small careless act could affect the sensitive electronic components and lead to incorrect results when in the field. Now, after two years in the team, I will start further training. Also, as a coordinator for assemblies, I may instruct and train colleagues in their activities. The fact that Safran Vectronix supports my personal ambitions is one of the biggest advantages the company offers me. There are also others, such as flexible working hours and very good social benefits.
