Patrick, Universal Assembler

At Safran Vectronix, we deal with very demanding products and with equally sensitive and small assemblies and components. My job as a universal assembler is to assemble each device I manufacture in accordance with high quality requirements from start to finish.

By qualification, I’m a multi-skilled engineer. When I applied in 2018, the full range of tasks in assembly particularly appealed to me: Starting with assembly, soldering and gluing, through to turning, adjusting and calibrating, everything is my responsibility. The work requires high precision and also a lot of patience: A small careless act could affect the sensitive electronic components and lead to incorrect results when in the field.

Now, after two years in the team, I will start further training. Also, as a coordinator for assemblies, I may instruct and train colleagues in their activities. The fact that Safran Vectronix supports my personal ambitions is one of the biggest advantages the company offers me.
