Rosalba, HR Generalist

I joined Safran Vectronix in 2016 as an HR assistant and have been able to develop into an HR generalist since 2019. Back then, I was looking for a new challenge in the Rhine Valley and became aware of Safran Vectronix AG. From the very first interview, I was very impressed by the company’s values and the friendly environment among staff.

My professional career began with commercial training. After that, I worked for many years in various international companies in Zurich and Aargau. A few years ago, I completed my further training and graduated as an HR specialist with active support from Safran Vectronix.

In my current role, I support and advise the managers and employees of the assembly department throughout the entire employee life cycle. I am also the central point of contact for apprentices who we train in a wide range of professions together with LIBS. I am also responsible for the administration of personnel development and am involved in various HR projects.

What I particularly like about my work is the way I interact and work with people from different backgrounds and cultures. There are new and exciting challenges every day that I continue to learn from. This keeps the work exciting and varied.

For my position, it is particularly important to enjoy dealing with people and to have strong social skills. Strong communication and reliability are also essential. Resilience, experience in international HR, language skills and broad expertise are also key.

Our team is reliable and maintains open communication. We complement each other very well on both a personal and technical level and have a service-oriented way of working. In doing so, we are approachable and accessible for our employees.

Fascinating topics such as artificial intelligence, globalisation and mobility, as well as the coming-together of different people and generations with one’s expectations, make working in HR very exciting and challenging in the future too. I look forward to actively shaping these developments.

I recommend that new employees use formal and informal events to get to know each other quickly. We greatly appreciate the input of new ideas and experiences. At Safran Vectronix, we value openness and are happy to have fresh energy in the team.
