Customer Support Manager

Support our customers with training and service

We focus on a long-term, trusting relationship and close cooperation with our customers. Our products are complex and require good and sustainable user training. This enables customers to fully use all functions of a device or, in the B2B business field, to optimally integrate our module solutions into their systems. In such a specialized market where we operate as a company, customers expect direct access to a support team should any question arise on or with a product.

This is where our Customer Support Managers come into play. They are also responsible for projects in the context of further product development: gathering customer feedback and creating the user and service manuals or product data sheets. During this, they can draw on the expertise of colleagues from product management, sales and the development team. This is important in order to provide the right level of support quickly and in detail.

Bruno, Customer Support Manager

Safran Vectronix - Customer Support Manager

My area of responsibility in Customer Support involves all handheld devices. These include, for example, the VECTOR laser rangefinders, which have been successfully fielded for decades, or our currently very successful MOSKITO TI and PLRF25C devices. At the beginning of my career at Safran Vectronix, I worked as a product manager for ten years. Since we wanted to expand the service and training offers for our customers and were looking for employees with long product experience, I switched internally to Customer Support. Looking back on my professional education, I can say that it was truly technical in nature. After completing a mechanics apprenticeship, I went on to graduate in engineering, specializing in precision mechanics. This was followed by my postgraduate studies to become an industrial engineer. Based on this educational experience, my path led me to Safran Vectronix. To this day, I have always found the products that we manufacture and the markets in which we are active very interesting and exciting. When I’m at one of our customers’ sites, I present hands-on equipment – all over the world. With my technical background, I can specifically highlight the unique technical features. The sales negotiations are handled by my colleagues from the sales team. Being present at international trade fairs as well as at customers’ premises in different countries makes my work extremely varied.
